Tobermory

My name is Aska Marzec. I am exhibiting in The Picture Gallery on Main Street in Tobermory, in the blue-coloured "Balamory" building, next to the Mishnish Hotel. I arrived on the Isle of Mull 18 years ago from Poland and immediately felt in awe of the beauty of the Scottish landscape.

Interpreting its special light with the eyes of a newcomer, I set out to capture it in my paintings and high-quality giclée prints. My main aim is for the viewer to enjoy my work.

Encapsulating visitors' memories of Mull branding artwork under Scottish Island Art.

My paintings feature bright colours and are filled with light, creating a calm and uplifting atmosphere in your home.

Resin art beach seascapes with gently rolling waves lapping on the shore create coastal-inspired art décor for your living room.

Having arrived in Scotland for the first time 18 years ago, I was struck by its stunning beauty—sea water and mountains together in harmony. What a gift. Living in such a beautiful country as Scotland, I am surrounded by inspiration. I just wanted to paint it all, or at least try to capture its beauty.

Sharing what I love and am inspired by makes me happy. Sunbeams through the sky, red sky and sun before it goes behind the horizon, approaching rain and bright sunshine when it shows through the clouds.

All brings a feeling of warmth and happiness. I love to try to express this world's beauty, harmony, and spirit in my artwork. I search for it in landscapes, scenery, and objects, and at that one moment, I start to see the final image taking shape in my mind. The creative process has started. I look for ways to best capture this beautiful and frail moment I have the honour to witness for that split second.

It is a joy to see people happy when looking at my artwork because they have been to the same places and enjoyed the same moment of seeing sunbeams through the clouds.

To cherish their memories of the place and bring them happiness.

My paintings are bright and filled with light, helping you to create a calm and uplifting atmosphere in your home.

Beach seascapes and gently rolling waves onto a shore create coastal-inspired art decor for your living room.

Whether you just dropped by to browse or are thinking about buying my prints, I am happy to share the moment with you by looking at the same image.
